Anyone 18 years or older can become a member! We especially encourage past and current vendors, entertainers, exhibitors, and volunteers to join and take part in shaping the future of The Russell Fair.
The Russell Fair is extremely grateful for all donations and sponsorship received. A sponsorship application can be obtained by contacting info@russellagriculturalsociety.com or by completing the sponsorship package online Sponsorship Application
The Russell Fair is always looking for volunteers! Head to the Russell Agricultural Society website HOME PAGE, click on the green “volunteer” button on the top right-hand side of the page to create a profile. Once you have a profile, check in often to see what jobs and shifts are available. Choose what suits you! Or register HERE !
Exhibitors must be members of the Russell Agricultural Society. The membership fee of $12 can be paid at the Fair office. Classes are listed on the website https://russellagriculturalsociety.com/russell-fair/exhibitors/. There is a link to register your entries on that page. Entry tags are required for each entry and are available from the Fair office.
No. Only registered and documented service animals, performing or agricultural animals are admissible to the Fairgrounds. Proof of certification may be requested at the gate to gain entry; they may be refused at gate security’s complete discretion.
There are a limited number of accessible parking spaces in front of the arena for those with a valid accessible parking pass. There is no parking available otherwise on the Fairgrounds.
This year we are pleased to announce that all musical entertainment is included in your gate admission. There are a few activities that have a $5 surcharge to participate.
Pets, weapons, offensive clothing, alcohol, smoking products, illegal drugs and any other items considered to not be appropriate for a family-oriented atmosphere are not permitted on the Fairgrounds.
Typically, people bring found items to the Fair Office which is located next to the Curling Club. You can also call the Fair Office at 613-445-1742.
The Fair runs rain or shine, but outdoor activities may be postponed or cancelled in the event of an electrical storm for the safety of both our performers and visitors. The Fair is not responsible for any schedule changes due to inclement weather. Admission fees are non-refundable. The Fair will continue to have all expenses and operating costs associated with the event regardless of weather. In the event of rain, Russell Fair offers many activities that are under cover.
Russell Fair is a family friendly fairground, therefore smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted with the exception of the designated area in the beer tent.
Yes, there is a room for changing and feeding babies accessible through the lobby of the arena.
In the interest of pedestrian safety, bicycles, in-line skates. skateboards or two-wheel scooters are not allowed on the Russell Fairgrounds during the Fair.
