REGISTRATION LIMITED TO 60 TRUCKS – 1st come 1st served

If you love the sound of engines revving and the excitement that comes with it, you won’t want to miss this event! This is a motor sport competition which requires trucks to pull a heavy sled and the winner is the truck that pulls the sled the farthest.

Rules

  • General rules and regulations of the Russell Agricultural Society’s Truck Pull Committee apply.
  • Entry fee is $20.00 per truck, per class (entry fee covers the driver ONLY) CASH ONLY * Gate Entry to the Fair still applies*   
  • 1 driver & 2 mechanics maximum per truck (mechanics are required to purchase their own pit passes)   
  • There must be a minimum of three trucks per class.
  • One step up in classes is allowed with second entry fee.
  • Driver only allowed in the truck during the pull.
  • All trucks are pre-inspected and must be completely factory stock.
  • Class 3 hitch or equivalent required; no less than 36” from centre of axle, no higher than 21” from ground.
  • Consumption of alcohol during the pull will be grounds for automatic disqualification.
  • Any trucks experiencing oil spillage or losing truck parts during the pull will be disqualified.
  • No loose objects permitted in the truck box.
  • Truck Pull Committee reserves the right to choose any truck to serve as a test puller.

  1. 4WD, ½ Ton
  2. 4WD, ¾ Ton
  3. Workstock 8500lbs
  4. Pro Street 8200lbs
  5. Pro Mod 8000lb
  6. Semi
