From June until October, on the second Sunday of every month you will find a bourgeoning outdoor community market located off Concession St. at The Russell Fairgrounds. The community market was conceived during the bleak early days of Covid and has evolved into a monthly celebration of our agricultural roots that support local in the good times and bad.

We have a variety of vendors carrying everything from seasonal fruits and vegetables to sweet treats & warm eats. We have local maker’s with their homemade jams, handmade jewelry, original artwork, hand carved woodworks, home décor knick knacks, knits for all seasons, sauces, wines, gifts and garments galore for your furry friends, quilts, essential oils, and much, much more.  We also have a limited number of community tables that are available to assist local endeavours within the township. Come spend the second Sunday of the summer month’s from 10:00 – 2:00 at our outdoor market and support our local entrepreneurs.

A few notes about the markets this year, as you consider an application:

1. There is a discounted rate for vendors who register as a seasonal vendor (June, July, Aug, Sept, and Oct markets).  

2. I  would really appreciate vendors to submit a complete application all at once (contract, payment, proof of insurance). It makes my job much easier! Space is almost never limited so you do not need to rush to submit your application. We ask that you submit a completed application at least a week prior to the market you are attending.

3. If you are a food vendor,please note you must get in touch with the EOHU at least 30 days before the event and let me know too so I can include your business on my application with the EOHU.

4. Insurance is a requirement for all vendors,except community tables who are not selling any goods and are just providing information. Options are listed in the application, you can contact me if you have questions.

5. Lastly, please read the terms and conditions included in the contract to avoid any confusion. Your signature is proof you have read and understood our market bylaws.
